Quarterly digest

One letter, four times a year.

A quarterly note on what I have been reading, the research in flight, and one longer essay on a problem I have been thinking about. Written by hand, not generated. No sponsors, no tracking, easy to unsubscribe.

What you receive

Four things, every quarter.

01 What i am reading

Three to five things from the desk — papers, books, threads, or data — with a sentence on why each one is worth your time. Annotated, not just listed.

02 Research in progress

A short update on the projects currently in flight: what is working, what is not, and what the data is suggesting. The part that doesn’t make it into the papers.

03 The longer essay

One piece per issue: a methodological problem, a recurring mistake in the literature, a tool worth knowing, or an argument worth having. Usually one to two thousand words.

04 Links and notices

Upcoming courses and cohorts, any new publications, and occasional links to things I think the readership would find useful. Never more than a handful.
